Partner of ALC Advogados analyses Angolan Laws regarding Public Procurement

Helena Prata, partner at ALC Advogados, partner office of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Solva in Angola, is present at the presentation session regarding "New Rules for Public Procurement", promoted by the Portuguese Embassy and AICEP (AICEP Portugal Global - Trade & Investment Agency).

This session will take place on 19 February 2014 at the Camões Institute Auditorium in Luanda.

According to Helena Prata, "the actual Public Procurement Law in Angola, approved in 2010, provides more transparency, but it still needs clarification".

The ALC partner believes that "this document allows  larger transparency in public procurement procedures "since the previous one was incomplete in several areas" regarding transparency and impartiality".

The meeting also includes Angélica Paquete, National Director of the Ministry of Finance's Public Debt-Management Unit.
