Irina Neves Ferreira and Claudia Santos Cruz (Morais Leitão) will be attending 6th Energy Law Group (ELG) event, where they have been invited to participate as speakers in the “Energy and mining in Africa | Opportunities and challenges” panel. Specifically issues such the challenges - and how to deal with them - in project development, structuring and financing in the fields of energy and mining in Angola and Mozambique as well as the challenges that investors face in an ever-changing legislative and tax framework will be addressed.

The 6th ELG event brings together the leading energy industry practitioners, regulators, bankers and lawyers from around 40 jurisdictions, who will share their experience on the industry's most compelling issues. Participants will discuss the latest trends in the energy industry. explore new business opportunities and cultivate international connections.

The conference is organized by the ELG and its Danish firm member, Gorrissen Federspiel, and will be held on the 4th of October, in Copenhagen (Denmark).
