Helena Prata analyses rules of the act on public procurement in Angola

Partner Helena Prata is present at the presentation session on "The new public procurement rules", promoted by the Portuguese Embassy and by the Business Development Agency (AICEP).

The session took place on February 19, at the Instituto Camões' Auditorium in Luanda.

According to Helena Prata, "the present public procurement law, adopted in 2010, makes for greater transparency, but it contains rules that need clarifying."

The ALC Advogados' lawyer believes that this legislation will provide greater transparency in e-procurement processes "once the previous had gaps in certain aspects regarding the assumptions of transparency and impartiality."

The session was attended by Angélica Paquete, the National Director of the Unit for Public Debt Management at the Ministry of Finance.
