ALC Advogados has been shortlisted for “National Law Firm of the Year – Angola” at the IFLR Africa Awards 2026, a recognition that reaffirms its leading position in the Angolan legal market.
In addition to this institutional distinction, ALC Advogados and Morais Leitão have also been shortlisted for “Deal of the Year – Domestic” for their work on the Banco Fomento Angola IPO, one of the most significant transactions in the Angolan market, reflecting their involvement in highly complex transactions.
These nominations form part of the broader recognition of the Morais Leitão Legal Circle, whose international network has been shortlisted for “African Legal Network of the Year”. Morais Leitão has also been shortlisted in the categories of “Lusophone Africa International Law Firm” and “International Law Firm of the Year”, reflecting the strength of the network’s cross-border practice across Africa.
At individual level, Catarina Levy Osório, partner at ALC Advogados, has been shortlisted for “Lawyer of the Year – Angola”, a distinction highlighting her professional track record and contribution to the development of the Angolan legal sector.
The IFLR Africa Awards annually recognise law firms and professionals who stand out for innovation, technical excellence and involvement in significant transactions across Africa.
The winners of the IFLR Africa Awards 2026 will be announced on 17 March.
